Venetia Baudelaire is the bootlegging queen. As the eldest remaining vampire in her line, it’s fallen on her shoulders to ensure they thrive. It’s the reason she relocated with her sisters to The Windy City, where they’ve built an unstoppable empire. 

The Baudelaire sisters have never been on the International Vampire Investigation Agency’s radar. They’ve done well keeping their circle small and dirty dealings hidden. That is, until the past Venetia believed she’d left dead and buried shows up on her doorstep, alongside a human agent she can’t seem to stay away from. 

To protect her sisters, Venetia will become the cruelest version of herself, eliminating those she considers to be nothing more than “dead weight.” All the while, she’s determined to fight her attraction for the human until the unthinkable happens.
